PURPOSE: To provide a thermoelectric cooled type power lead which is capable of efficiently dissipating heat and cooling itself dispensing with a specific cooling means, wherein the power lead is used for connecting a superconducting coil to a power supply which drives the coil. CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric cooling device composed of an N-type thermoelectric material connected to the positive pole of a power supply and a P-type thermoelectric material connected to the negative pole of the power supply is provided. Or, a high-temperature superconductor may be provided between the thermoelectric cooling device and a superconducting coil. |
