The device has an oscillator for active construction of the oscillator signal (B) with oscillations, an input for the base signal (B) and an output for the generated oscillator signal. The oscillator is quasi-phase coherently stimulated by the base signal to generate the oscillator signal. The device has a switch for switching the ability of the oscillator to be stimulated quasi-phase coherently. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement with a device for producing an oscillator signal and a method of producing an oscillator signal.
