PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of safely re-using a fuel vessel, in a portable or transportable fuel cell system. SOLUTION: This system comprises a portable or transportable fuel cell 1 and a vessel 7 for feeding fuel 17 to the fuel cell 1. The vessel 7 includes a fuel storage part 10 for storing the fuel 17 with an IC chip 12 for storing data for recognizing the fuel vessel itself built in, and is so structured to be attachable to and detachable from the fuel cell 1.
