PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retrieve a location, where a desired article and/or service is provided. SOLUTION: A location retrieving system 1 has one or more portable information terminals 10, a retrieving server 30 and a database system 50. Each of portable information terminals 10 transmits the retrieving condition of the desired article and/or service through a short-distance wireless communication means to the server device 30 and on the basis of the retrieving condition, the database of the database system 50 is retrieved by the retrieving server 30. The retrieved result and map information are transmitted through the short- distance wireless communication means to the portable information terminal 10 and displayed on the terminal 10 by the retrieving server 30 when a location matched to the retrieving condition is found out. |
