PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale by which only one person can measure the trunk circumference of trees quickly, easily and accurately without addition and subtraction, though the conventional measurement needs two persons and is incorrect and complicated. SOLUTION: This scale for measuring trunk circumference of trees is provided with a buckle 1 that is provided with a peep hole 2 on its surface side and is attached with a zero mark 4 and a reading mark 6 on upper and lower side edges divided into two in the direction of width of the peep hole. The base end 3a of a measuring tape 3 with a specified length is fixed to the one side end of the buckle 1, and an addition scale 5 starting from the zero mark 4 is marked on the surface of the measuring tape 3, and then the addition scale 5 of the measuring tape 3 is visibly read through the peep hole 2 while the measuring tape 3 is tightened by the buckle 1.
