PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint having a high load-resistant property. SOLUTION: In the ball joint comprising a ball stud having a spherical globe- headed portion and a handle extending from the globe-shaped head portion, a bearing covering and maintaining the globe-shaped head portion of the ball stud, and a housing in which the bearing is retained and an opening portion making the handle of the ball stud project from an inner periphery at one end portion is provided, the globe-shaped head portion is comprised of a tip portion formed at one end portion of the handle, an approximately spherical cylinder-shaped outer cylinder arranged on an outside of the tip portion, and a rubber-elastic portion intervened between the tip portion and outer cylinder. The tip portion is spherical, and a recessed portion is formed in a peripheral shape at a central portion in the axial direction. A projected portion projecting inward in a peripheral shape is formed at a central portion of the approximately spherical cylinder-shaped outer cylinder in the axial direction. |
