INTRALUMINAL STENT FOR ATTACHING GRAFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent suitable for placing a graft in the region of a body lumen which is affected by a disease such as abdominal aneurysm. SOLUTION: This stent 10 is provided with a plurality of cylindrical rings 12 which are respectively formed to have a meandering pattern and arrayed in an axial line direction and connection members 14 for connecting the adjacent rings 12. Hooks 20 are extended distally from the cylindrical rings 12 which are positioned distally. Unless the stent 10 is expanded, the hook 20 are positioned within the cylindrical surface of the rings 12. When the stent is expanded, the hooks are extended in a radial direction and pierce a vascular wall.
