PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber which can readily be detected by a detector even in the case of admixture of the fiber derived from a net in a product in harvesting and to provide a laver culture net composed of the fiber in relation to a net useful for culture of laver and Nemacystus decipiens. SOLUTION: This laver culture net comprises a synthetic fiber which is a fiber having >=15% maximum raflectance in a visible light range at 400-650 nm wavelength or a fiber having >=50% maximum reflectance in an infrared light range at 750-1,050 nm wavelength and/or <=35% minimum transmittance in the infrared light range at 750-1,050 nm wavelength and satisfies conditions that (1) the fiber contains 0.01-20 wt.% of inorganic fine particles having 0.01-10μm average particle diameter and (2) the inorganic fine particle are particles of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of titanium oxide, barium sulfate, calcium sulfate, barium carbonate, calcium carbonate and silicon oxide.
