<p>PURPOSE: A method for operating a window opening/closing switch of a vehicle is provided to prevent the window opening/closing switch from being malfunctioned due to an overload applied thereto by allowing a user to check an opening/closing state of the window through the sense of hearing. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of manual switches(MSW1,MSW2,MSW3) are provided in a vehicle. When operating the plurality of manual switches(MSW1,MSW2,MSW3), a detecting section(SU) measures resistance values at plus and minus power terminals of a power window system. Then, a control section(ECU) determines whether or not the measured resistance values exceed a predetermined value. If the measured resistance values are less than 880 ohm or more than 1.5 kilo-ohm, an alarm operating signal is generated. When the alarm operating signal is inputted into an alarming section(EU), a buzzer generates sound.</p> |
