PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel preventing the fishline from biting on the line roller. SOLUTION: This fishing spinning reel includes a line roller 31 for guiding a fishline 41 to a spool, and has the following scheme: the guide path for the fishline to be introduced into the line roller 31 and/or the other guide path for the fishline to be unreeled from the line roller to the spool is provided with a nipping means comprising a fishline-holding member for guiding/holding the fishline guided and a fishline-pressing member 34b springily impelled so as to enable the thus guided fishline to be pressed on/guided to the fishline- holding member, and both the fishline guide face and fishline slip of at least one of the fishline-holding member and the fishline-pressing member are formed as smooth guide face, and the line roller is designed so that the fishline guided is movable toward the side of a bail arm lever 33 or the fishline slip according to the tension on the fishline guided by the line roller and the pressing force on the fishline-holding member by the fishline-pressing member can be freed due to the movement of the fishline associated with the tension thereon.
