PURPOSE: A sterilizing device is provided to circulate air passed an intake motor to a main body, then to heat air removing germ. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner of circulating type comprises a circulation passage formed from an intake motor to a hose(140). A circulation outlet is formed in the hose to connect the circulation passage with a head. A discharge passage is formed from the intake motor to a discharge port. A separating wall is formed between a coil portion and an impeller portion of the intake motor. A sterilizing device is inserted into a connecting hole(106) connected to the hose, and a plug(150) of a rubber material is formed with a flange(152) covering the connecting hole.
