ELECTRO LUMINESCENCE LAMP BUILT-IN TYPE KEY PAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An EL(Electro Luminescence) lamp built-in type key pad and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize a thickness of a key pad by forming an EL lamp at a lower surface of the key pad as a printing surface and omit a special assembling process for assembling the EL lamp. CONSTITUTION: A numeral letter and a character are printed on a plane film(S1). A back lighting is provided to a key pad so that a user confirms a printing surface of the key pad in a dark place, and an EL having a photogenic layer is printed at the key pad(S2). When an EL printing surface is formed, a press presses the film to have an internal space of a key form(S3). A previously formed internal space of the key form is filled with a matrix of the key(S4). Other mold is pressed to have a form of the key pad(S5). A silicon is hardened for a predetermined time and a fixing hole is formed at a portable phone so that a peripheral edge is removed and the key pad is fixed to a front housing of the portable phone(S6).
