The object is to present a vacuum cleaner having no restriction in configuration of tap changeover switch and operation element for setting input, and capable of suppressing harmonic current. Comprising a fan motor 1 having a plurality of input taps, an input setting unit 2 for setting input of the fan motor 1, a switching unit 7 for controlling phase of the fan motor 1 depending on the input of the fan motor set by this input setting unit 2, and a tap changeover unit 6 for changing over input taps 1ah, 1bh, 1am, 1bm of the fan motor 1, tap changeover and phase control depending on the input are enabled. <IMAGE> |
