PURPOSE: A differential signal detecting circuit is provided to satisfy a common voltage input range of a differential low-voltage signal using NMOS and PMOS input stages as a circuit for restoring a CMOS-compatible signal level from the differential low-voltage signal level. CONSTITUTION: An NMOS input pre-amplifier(410) amplifies a differential input signal(in+, in-), and a PMOS input pre-amplifier(420) amplifies differential input signal(in+, in-). The NMOS and PMOS input pre-amplifiers(410,420) form the first stage(400). The second stage(500) consists of a current converting part(510) for converting voltage signals from the pre-amplifiers(410,420) into current signals and a forward feedback latch circuit(520) for feeding back differential current input signals. The third stage(600) consists of an output buffer(610) for amplifying a voltage signal amplified at the second stage and converting the amplified signal to a CMOS-compatible signal.
