PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for realizing API of a DSM-CC based system are provided to increase operation speed and prevent a memory and a system from being overloaded. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for implementing API of a DSM-CC based system includes a parser(10), a resolver(20), a module manager(3), and an exception handler(30). The parser analyzes a path name string transmitted from an application task to store the depth of path name, directory and file name in a string form. The resolver finds the same directory and file name as the directory and fine name analyzed by the parser among directories and fine names of the lower list of the directory currently being resolved, to receive the position where the actual object is stored from the module manager. The module manager finds a required object from a module list caches storing DSM-CC objects. The exception handler processes an exception that occurs when the resolver operates. |
