The pump (1) has a casing (2) with inlet aperture (5) and with a vibration damper (7) consisting of a spring body (8) and a damper jacket (9). The casing is directly connected to one endface of the spring body. The free endface of the spring body carries a connecting flange (14). The edging round the inlet aperture is welded to the induction endface of the spring body.
