PURPOSE:To reduce NOx in exhaust gas as well as to prevent the occurrence of premature ignition and knocking so as to attempt the high output of an engine, in a fuel gas engine provided with a mixer to mix fuel gas with air and a sub-combustion chamber communicated thereto through a supercharger, a main combustion chamber and a nozzle hole. CONSTITUTION:An electric heat ignition auxiliary means 71 consisting of a high pressure gas injection valve 61, a water injection valve 8, a glow plug, etc., is juxtaposed to a sub-combustion chamber 3, and water is injected in the sub-combustion chamber 3 midway compression process, then high pressure fuel gas for ignition is injected at the vicinity of a top dead center so as to be ignited by the electric heat ignition auxiliary means 71. |
