PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment, a communication method, a communication program and a recording medium that can allow a user to accurately discriminate whether a data group of a communication object is transmittable/receivable so as to enhance the convenience of the user and avoid reduction of the utilizing efficiency of a communication channel. SOLUTION: A battery residual amount detection section 106 detect the residual amount of a battery, a transmission/reception propriety discrimination section 107 obtains an operable time R1 until the operation of communication equipment 100 is stopped due to the run-down battery 104 on the basis of the detected residual battery capacity, obtains a data quantity R3 transmittable/ receivable by the communication equipment 100 until the battery 104 runs down on the basis of the operable time R1, and an operating state notice section 109 informs a user about a transmission/reception available data quantity R3.
