PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, in a liquid crystal display device of a color sequential display system, when the slew rate of the source driver of an operational amplifier system is raised in accordance with a high-speed write-in of a source line, a bias current is increased, too and an LSI(large scale integrated circuit) can not stand heat. SOLUTION: This source driver is made to be able to charge a source line at a high speed while suppressing the generation of heat of an LSI by constituting the source driver of switches. Moreover, the source driver is made to be able to perform multi-level display while making the number of switches minimum by the combined use with a multi-level processing circuit. Furthermore, the liquid crystal display device of the color sequential display system can be realized by using the source driver of this invention.
