PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To slide/turn a monitor casing for housing/viewing in simple configuration and to perform the ON/OFF of the power source of a monitor, picture quality adjustment of a monitor picture or luminance control of a back light simultaneously with turning of the monitor. SOLUTION: A pair of guide pins 1f and 1r are provided at vertically oblique positions on the side face of a monitor casing 1 and linear guide grooves 2p and 2q, which can be slid while supporting these guide pins 1f and 1r, and a turning portion 2r are provided. The guide pin 1r is equipped with a minus type projecting part to be linked with a hinge lever 3 for turning angle control and a rotary switch 3 with electric circuit in the case of turning.
