ANTENNA AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whip antenna used for portable radio communication equipment typified by portable telephones the upper stopper and the lower stopper mounted to the coil part of the whip part of which can be strongly fixed to the coil part with less manufacturing man-hours. SOLUTION: A ring shaped groove 24 is provided to an outer circumference of the coil part 22 being a member of a 2nd stage, crush processing is applied to the combined upper stopper 26, an inner circumferential wall of a large diameter hole 25C is caulked so as to be fitted in a ring form groove 24 placed to an upper part of the coil part 22 so as to lock the upper stopper 26 to the coil part 22.
