OS START-UP METHOD, OS START-UP SYSTEM AND PROGRAM FOR OS START-UP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OS start-up method starting a PC connected by a network by a selected OS. SOLUTION: In an OS start-up system, a server and an electronic computer are connected through the network and the electronic computer is started by the selected OS. The server is provided with a setting part setting the start-up OS of the electronic computer and a start-up part starting the electronic computer by rewriting the active partition information of MBR read to the main memory of the electronic computer to an area storing the OS set in the OS setting part when the electronic computer is connected through the network. By this invention, regardless of the active partition information present in the MBR on the HD of the PC, the PC is started by the selected OS through the network.
