PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player device provided with a reverse insertion preventing mechanism which can stop misinsertions at early stage of insertion of minidisk into a device body. SOLUTION: An erroneous insertion preventing member 100 is stuck axially in a position corresponding to slide-holding part, and an erroneous insertion discriminating member 110 is put in a long groove 112 of a mini disk 16 not to hinder the inserting operation, when the mini disk 16 is inserted in the normal insertion state. An operation member 106 to be operated, which is arranged on the erroneous insertion preventing member 100 rubs against the mini disk 16, to turn the misinsertion preventing member 100, and the misinsertion discriminating member 110 put in the long groove 112 of the mini disk 16 is released from the long groove 112, so that the mini disk 16 can be inserted up to the last. When the mini disk 16 is inserted in the misinsertion state, the misinsertion discriminating member 110 is brought into contact with the corner part of the front end in the insertion direction of the mini disk 16 to stop the misinsertion.
