<p>A device for evaporation and condensation of water from an aqueous liquid by means of a temperature difference and/or concentration difference, which device comprises (a) a vapour chamber which is or can be brought in contact with a condensation compartment wherein at least part of the water vapour from the aqueous liquid condenses, and wherein inside of said vapour chamber is located, (b) an evaporation compartment having at least a wall with an outer surface and comprising a closed, hollow and water permeable membrane, characterised in that, the evaporation compartment is adapted to receive heat by means of direct solar radiation, the device comprising means for regeneration of the latent heat, wherein latent heat released during condensation of water vapour is used to heat the aqueous liquid.</p> |
