PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect an antislipping action when a grip cylinder is grasped and to obtain a suitable elastic action in a writing instrument having the grip cylinder. SOLUTION: The writing instrument comprises the grip cylinder (2) having a substrate (3) formed of a hard material, an inner surface soft elastic section (5), and an outer surface soft elastic section (4) formed by injection molding a soft elastic material according to a procedure of dichroic molding or insert molding at an inside surface and an outside surface of the substrate (3). The cylinder (2) is mounted in a barrel (1) of the instrument in a state in which the elastic section (5) is brought into contact with a small-diameter part (8) of the barrel (1). |
