PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic enabling free hair arrangement on the hair, having excellent setting power which holds the hair arrangement for a long time, imparting soft feeling to the hair, suppressing unnatural greasiness and gloss caused by an oil solution, and excellent in stability. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises the following components (A) to(D). (A) A clay mineral having oil-swelling property. (B) An oil which is liquid at 25 deg.C. (C) An oil which is pasty at 25 deg.C and has a melting point in a range of 30-60 deg.C. (D) A wax.
