PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type displaying device capable of displaying a virtual image having high visibility even of a mark with dark color. SOLUTION: This projection type displaying device has a light emitting type display and a controlling means and projects display light to display the virtual image. The light emitting type display has pixels disposed in a matrix shape. The controlling means displays the mark 46 on the light emitting display. The controlling means 34 has a storing means that comprises a first display part 47 displayed with a first color and an edge-like second display part 48 displayed with a second color around the first display part 47 and has pattern data of the mark 46. The color of the second display part 48 is lighter than that of the first display part 47.
