PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for air conditioner in which no gap is present around the remote controller when it is contained in the air conditioner and the door at the switch section is closed and the open angle of the door at the switch section can be increased not to cause a trouble in the switching operation while ensuring the design by making the remote controller flush with the body. SOLUTION: The container of remote controller for air conditioner comprises a remote controller containing section provided in the front face of the body, and a remote controller contained in the containing section while having a single swing door opening forward wherein the pivot is movable arcuately to a position for increasing the open angle when the door is released from closed state.
