PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film which is best-suited as a packaging material to be used for covering, tying and exterior fitting, especially a heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film showing the range of low appropriate temperatures for shrinkage and an excellent applicability to sterile filled packaging or packaging in short time, and a label and a container using the film. SOLUTION: This heat-shrinkable polystyrene resin film is characterized in that the rate of heat shrinkage shown in terms of a rate of change in the length after treatment by soaking the resin film in hot water at 65 deg.C for 10 seconds to the length before treatment in the main shrinking direction, is not less than 5%.
