PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely achieve high coherency, without increasing the scale of hardware, regarding a transmitting-receiving apparatus and a radar apparatus on which the transmitting-receiving apparatus is mounted. SOLUTION: The transmitting-receiving apparatus is constituted by providing a signal generation means 11, which alternately generates a first signal and a second signal at different frequencies and having constant phase initial values, a transmitting means 12, which radiates radiation waves generated on the basis of the first signal generated by the means 11 and a receiving means 13, by which received waves, arriving as a response to the radiation waves radiated by the transmission means 12, are subjected to heterodyne detection and which extracts phase information of the received waves.
