PURPOSE: A power window regulator for cars is provided to absorb compression and tensile strength derived from circular movement of the window glass at raising the window glass then to increase durability and to prevent escaping of gear and noise. CONSTITUTION: The regulator comprises a guide rail(4) fixed to bottom end of a door glass(2); a main arm(6) and a sub arm(8) crossed each other in X-arm type and connected to the rail(4) possible to straightly move; a driving motor to rotate the main arm(6) by coupling the motor to bottom end of the arm(6) by means of a sector gear(10); and a component for absorbing compression/tensile power generated at raising/dropping the door glass(2) located between the main arm(6) and the guide rail(4). The compression/tensile power absorbing component comprises a slider attached to the rail(4), a slider shaft fixed to the slider, and a grip component to connect the shaft and the arm(6). |
