PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable injection operation by preventing temperature rise of the coil holder of a linear motor. SOLUTION: A coil 11 generates heat by electromagnetic induction and the temperature of the coil holder 17 is raised by this heat. The temperature of the coil holder 17 is measured by a temperature sensor 62 and, when the measured temperature reaches a predetermined temperature cooling, water is supplied into a cooling medium flow channel 61 from a cooling control unit 60 to lower the temperature of the coil holder 17. At this time, the cooling control unit 60 compares the temperature from the temperature sensor 62 with a set temperature predetermined by an operator to lower the temperature of cooling water while accompanying the temperature rise of the coil holder 17 and the temperature of the coil holder 17 is controlled so as to be held to the set temperature.
