PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the fitting which is limited by the shape and the size of a leg section by changing a cap attached to the leg section of a chair or a table and so forth to a cover which is constituted of a knitted fabric. SOLUTION: One end of a cylindrical knitted fabric 1 is sewn together. Then, a fitting port 8 which is formed on the other end is fitted on the lower end of the leg section of furniture such as a table. This leg cover 6 for furniture is fitted as a cap for the leg section by utilizing the stretchability owned by the knitted fabric.
