PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or identifying a replication initiating related region of thermophilic phase ϕIN93DNA having a host of a bacterium belonging to the thermophilic genus Thermus, and to obtain a replicable plasmid vector in the bacteria belonging to the genus Thermus. SOLUTION: 1. The replication initiation related region contains a DNA sequence having a specified base sequence i.e., a DNA sequence of base no.23-631, a DNA sequence of base no.628-1260, a DNA sequence of base no.23-1260 or a DNA sequence added, deleted or substituted one or more nucleotides to/from/for these DNA sequences but capable of replication initiation. 2. The plasmid vector for the bacteria belonging to the genus Thermus includes the above replication initiation related region (1). |
