PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EMI measures and to reduce power consumption for a liquid crystal display device, that has been manufactured, in accordance with the utilization environment of an electronic equipment into which the device is mounted. SOLUTION: A display mode selection terminal FCK is provided on a timing converter TCON that is to be mounted onto an interface substrate of the liquid crystal display device. Display mode selecting signals MSC, which change the frequency of pixel clock signals of image signals, are applied to the terminal FCK from the external to change the pixel clock signals.
