PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk device which is small in the coefficient of thermal expansion in both of a spindle and ramp structure, high in rigidity and light. SOLUTION: The hard disk device having the spindle on which a disk is to be mounted and the ramp structure having a loading/unloading ramp, in which the spindle and ramp structure described above consist of metal-ceramic composite materials formed by combining ceramic powder or ceramic fibers which are reinforcing materials and aluminum or aluminum alloys which are matrices.
