PURPOSE: An optical pickup actuator is provided to compensate phase at a high band without having influence on sensitivity at a low band by controlling inductance with a magnetic and non-conductive yoke. CONSTITUTION: In an optical pickup actuator enabling focusing and tracking operations by making an objective lens follow surface vibration or eccentricity of a disk in an optical pickup device, the optical pickup actuator includes a yoke(30) in which a focusing coil(36) for the focusing operation and a tracking coil for the tracking operation are installed, wherein the yoke is made of a material which is non-conductive as well as magnetic.
