PURPOSE: A clamping unit is provided to adjust the position of a movable die plate starting the extruding operation of formed objectives. CONSTITUTION: A clamping unit comprises a movable plate which is connected to an extrusion pin retractably installed to a moving die and held to a movable die plate to move toward opening and shutting directions(A1,A2) of the die; air cylinders(210) installed to the movable die plate and the cylinder restricting the movement of the movable plate relative to the movable die plate to release at a predetermined position and the air cylinder mounted to a link housing, the cylinder constraining in the die opening/closing directions of the movable plate when the movable die plate moves to a predetermined die opening position(PD) and regulating only the movement of the movable plate, which is directed from the die opening position to further in the die opening direction, released by the air cylinder; and position changing mechanisms(252,253) changing the positions of the air cylinder relative to the movable die plate along the die opening/closing directions.
