An endoscopic clip applier 10 with ligating clips 78 built into a clip channel 34. The device contains a jaw assembly 90 with four jaw pieces 130.A feeder bar 75 is mounted adjacent the clip channel. A shaft 20 is moveable and contains cam surface 88 for closing the jaw assembly when the shaft assembly is moved in a distal direction. A trigger 144 on the handle assembly 140 actuates the feeder bar to advance clips 78 in the clip channel 34 and advances the shaft assembly 20 to close the jaw assembly 90.
