The kite may be triangular with two swept back leading edge members at 90 degrees to each other. A fabric or plastics membrane is stretched between the leading edge members and has an unsupported trailing edge at 90 degrees to the airflow. There are two cross frame members and a central longitudinal frame member. The two control lines (2) are attached to various portions of the frame in a symmetrical arrangement.
