PURPOSE: A panel gripping apparatus for vehicles of various kinds is provided to select plural clamps or fingers equipped depending on the shapes of panels by driving with one cylinder, reduce the installing space of a panel gripping apparatus for vehicles of various kinds, and simplify the parts. CONSTITUTION: A panel gripping apparatus for vehicles of various kinds comprises a control unit, a first actuator(110), a second actuator(120), and a panel-gripping unit(130). The control unit has panel data about vehicles of various kinds and makes a locator selection control signal and a panel gripping control signal corresponding to the panel data. The first actuator is operated to select the locator corresponding to the panel data according to input of the locator selection control signal supplied from the control unit. The second actuator operates the corresponding locator according to input of the panel gripping control signal supplied from the control unit. The panel-gripping unit has plural locators corresponding to the panels for vehicles of various kinds and operates the locator corresponding to the panel data among the plural locators corresponding to the panels for vehicles of various kinds. |
