PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing burr on both sides of strip is provided to remove burr facing from the upper side to the lower side by using a cutter when cutting both surfaces of the strip before cold rolling the strip. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for removing burr on both sides of strip comprises a base part comprising left and right moving arms(207,206) which are installed at left and right sides of the upper part of the fixed base on the basis of a strip proceeding direction, and on which female grooves are formed so that the strip passes through the female grooves, and a fixed base on which a bidirectional screw(204) and a shake prevention rod(203) that are rotated by a screw rotation motor(201) by penetrating the lower part of the left and right moving arms(207,206) are installed; a cutting part comprising a cutter fixing plate(309) which is adhered to the lower part of the inner side of the female grooves of the left and right moving arms(207,206), and on the upper part of which a rotation cutter(312) that is slantly formed and rotated by a cutter rotation motor(311) and a strip cutting prevention roll(310) that is idly rotated at the side surface of the rotation cutter(312) are installed; a pass line guide roll(307) which is installed at the lower part of a pass line guide plate(306) that is adhered to the upper part of the inner side of the female grooves of the left and right moving arms(207,206), ascended and descended by a pass line guide cylinder(305) that is installed at the upper part of the outer side of the female grooves of the moving arms(207,206), and idly rotated, and intake ports which are installed in front and rear of the rotation cutter(312) to suck in grinded burr; and a touch bar(208) which is adhered to one end of one of the left and right moving arms(207,206) and oppositely directed to one end of the fixed base(209), first light emitting and light receiving photo sensors(301,303) which are installed at upper and lower parts of the inner side of the female grooves of the left and right moving arms(207,206), and second light emitting and light receiving photo sensors(302,304) which are installed on the outer surfaces of the first light emitting and light receiving photo sensors(301,303) respectively.
