<p>The invention concerns a method and a system for reducing update frequency of image processing means (P1), in particular a software and/or a component. The image processing means (P1) enable to modify the quality of digital images (P2) derived from and addressed to a set of appliances (P3). The set of appliances (P3) comprises an image capture device and/or an image scanning device. The image processing means (P1) use formatted data (P4) dependent on at least one variable, associated with the defects (P5) of at least on appliance (P25) of said set of appliances (P3). The formatted data include in particular parameters (P9) of at least a parameterable model dependent on said variables. The formatted data enable to establish a correspondence, in particular by means of a correspondence table, between part of said variables and identifiers. The identifiers enable to determine the value of the variable corresponding to an identifier taking into account said identifier and the image (P2).</p> |
