PURPOSE: Structure and method for mounting a horn membrane switch of a vehicle are provided to make a horn keep operating stably by avoiding the transfer of the deforming force due to an external temperature or the deformation of an air bag cushion. CONSTITUTION: A guide having a fusion guide(12) is formed in a horn cover(10). A membrane switch(13) is inserted to the guide. A planar back plate(14) is covered on the membrane switch. The fusion guide is fused to the surface of the back plate. Since the back plate is made of a material of high strength and low thermal deformation, the back plate is firmly fixed with the horn cover.
