NETWORK SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONFIGURING NETWORK ENVIRONMENT OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A network system and a method for automatically configuring a network environment of the same are provided to automatically configure the network environment of a terminal computer regardless of a sort of a server. CONSTITUTION: The network system(1) includes the terminal computer(10) being equipped with a LAN(Local Area Network) card(11) having a MAC(Media Access Control) address and using a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) protocol, and the server(30) connecting to the terminal computer(10) through the TCP/IP protocol. The terminal computer(10) includes a decision part(13) deciding the sort of the server(30) based on the data received through the LAN card(11) and a system controlling part(15) configuring the network configuration of the terminal computer(10) based on the decision result of the decision part(13). The decision part(13) is prepared in the terminal computer(10) as a kind of application program.
