PURPOSE: A method of dyeing or printing synthetic polyamide fiber materials using reactive dyes suitable for combination according to the trichromatic principle is provided to obtain an uniform color build-up and good combinability. CONSTITUTION: The method for the trichromatic dyeing or printing of synthetic polyamide fiber material is characterized in that at least one red reactive dye(formula 1) is used together with at least one of the yellow or orange reactive dyes(formula 2, 3, and 4) and at least one blue reactive dye(formula 5). An after-treatment, if desired, may be carried out at a pH value of from 7 to 12 and a temperature of from 30 to 100 deg.C, and a reducing agent is added to the after-treatment bath.
