PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rattrap device capable of surely capturing a rat by a simple composition and being compactly housed and being inexpensively produceable. SOLUTION: This rattrap is composed of a body 1 formed of a top plate part 6 and left and right side plate parts 7 and 8 oppositely and protrusively provided from the left and right both ends to the lower direction and oppositely closing these side parts by own spring force and holding and capturing a rat, a bottom plate 2 pivotally attaching the lower end of either one side plate part 7 of the body 1 to the one end, a stopper 3 formed of a pair of engaging projections 3a and 3b fixed to the upper surface of other end of the bottom plate 2, an engaging release lever 4 pivotally attached to both projections 3a and 3b, inclining and raising one end to the interior of the body 1 and arranging other end to the lower part of the lower end of other side plate part 8, a bait placing member 5 arranged inclinably to one side in a standing condition on one end of the engaging release lever 4 and a tacky sheet 9 detachably arranged along the inside of the body 1.
