PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling vehicle, which is provided with a work table which can be moved upward and downward, performs a main control operation and a sub-control operation changed over from each other and can surely prevent these operations from being performed simultaneously. SOLUTION: The work table 24 is provided with a main controller 33a for controlling the operation of a vehicle, a sub-controller 33b, which is provided at a position separated from the main controller 33a and controls the operation of the vehicle, and a position detecting means 43 for detecting the position of the worker on the work table. The main controller 33a or the sub controller 33b can be selectively operated according to the position of the operator who moves, which is detected by the position detecting means 43.
