PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking structure for a door by which a braking force change of a rotary damper can be reduced, the door can be shut with good operability, and rotating the door and braking the door can be assisted by an urging member. SOLUTION: In the braking structure for the door for braking the rotation of the door 5 which rotates in a perpendicular direction to a horizontally set supporting shaft 4 by a viscous resistance of a viscous fluid 14 in the rotary damper 11, a coil spring 16 is set within the rotary damper 11, having one end fixed to a housing 12 and the other end fixed to a rotor 13. In a state in which an urging force of the coil spring 16 is freed, a center G of gravity of the door 5 is positioned on a nearly vertical line of an axis of the supporting shaft 4. |
