PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick release of an SDRAM. SOLUTION: When an image signal of 40 frames is stored in an SDRAM 26, a joint file including the image signal of 40 frames is formed in a data region of a magneto-optical disk 36, and FAT information of the file is written in a FAT region of the disk 36. When a prescribed condition is satisfied, the image data of the file are read by one frame by one frame. An image file including the read image data is formed in the data region of the disk 36, and the FAT information of the image file is written in the FAT region of the disk 36. This process is repeated 40 times and the join file is deleted.
